Artist Statement

     Our Botanical Series creative collaborations evolve from a life together at HillCrystal Farm living in partnership with the medicinal and spiritual properties of the plants growing around us. We believe the healing power inherent in the plants we choose to portray is transferred to the hyper-reality of the digital capture, creating a presence so real that viewers often touch the surface of the image expecting to touch the plant itself.
